For children entering grades 6-8 in fall 2024

This camp is for ambitious hikers who love to explore nature trails on foot. Campers will learn outdoor skills such as tracking, shelter building, and orienteering. We will end the week with two nights of tent camping at Deep Creek Lake State Park in Western Maryland. We will hike the rock maze at Garrett State Forest, see the beauty of Swallow Falls State Park, and conquer Maryland's highest peak, Hoye-Crest!

Monday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM depart Flag Ponds for overnight trip
Friday: 5:00 PM Camper Pick Up at Flag Ponds at 

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
