Calvert Stewards Appreciation: Fall Festival

For Current Calvert Stewards Volunteers and Their Immediate Family 

Enjoy a crisp fall evening with your family and other Calvert Stewards.

We will have a fire going for marshmallows and smores. A variety of fun activities are planned: making apple cider with an old-fashioned cider press, bobbing for apples, carnival games, or you can simply relax and enjoy the view as the sky changes colors over the meadow. Bring a blanket or chairs and a picnic supper, if you wish. We will provide the s'mores.

Tentative Schedule of Events

3:00 p.m. Fun Fall & Halloween Activities: making apple cider, bobbing for apples, trick or treat. These will continue throughout the event.

4:00 p.m. Costume Parade. Well behaved costumed dogs on leash allowed.

5:00 p.m. Campfire. we'll provide s'mores. 

6:00 p.m. Family sunset hike

6:00 p.m. Ghost Tour for teens and adults 

Everyone who registers will be entered into door prize drawings held throughout the event. Need not be present to win (but you must be a current volunteer!)

Free event. 

We have the right to cancel registrations if it is determined that those registered are not volunteers.


The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
