For Adults and Families

For more than 100 years the Audubon Society has conducted an annual nation-wide Christmas Bird Count. Join birders as they spend the day counting birds at various locations in the southern end of Calvert County. The count day is followed by a tally at a nearby restaurant. Counters can be partnered with more experienced birders, count for all or part of the day or even report from personal feeders. 

 

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
